How does this affect Coffee Time?

Welllll… currently it runs on a tiny $5/mo virtual machine somewhere in the cloud. I don’t know where they get their electricity from. I know for a fact that the vast majority of my electricity will soon be coming directly from the sun.

So why not shift to hosting Coffee Time back at home?

It’s worth thinking about anyway. I have a VERY fast computer to host it on. And with the solar panels and battery backup system we’re about to have installed, my house should never be without available power.

At least that’s the theory.
