On the theme of things I would want to use, there has been some advancement in the world of one on one conversations. I have a coaching client and a friend that I want to meet with periodically. So, I created a private “team” for just the two of us so we could have a record of what we talked about, insights, and next steps.
When I was first contemplating using the tool for this purpose, I didn’t think it made sense to have the two of us vote on what to talk about next. So I made a new option: no voting.
This option means that all you do is add items to the agenda, and process them one at a time. There is no voting, and instead of counting down 5 minutes, the app just counts up how much time you have spent talking about this item.
Still thinking about other features for this particular modality. For example, maybe everybody’s next steps could show up on the team page? They could mark them ‘done’ as they complete them?
I’ll throw it in the backlog and see how it feels.
Update: Went ahead and built the next steps functionality!
When you make a task in a team event it shows up on the team page! If you make it public, other people can see it there, too!
Only you can mark it complete, though.
